Oh by Golly! Its Jacklyn Irwin-Byers!

Jacklyn Irwin-Byers is a “DIY”, or simply put, a “do-it-yourselfer”. Her creative style is reminiscent of yesteryear with a flavor of contemporary class. Jacklyn loves nostalgia and is quick to incorporate it in her projects. Her blog “Oh by Golly”, is a must add to your blog read.  This blog was designed for women who want to support and inspire each other. To quote Jacklyn,

 “We can live vicariously through one another, truly feeling grateful and wiser from our sharing.  My desire is to be a woman who seeks wisdom over folly, and I don’t think we can do that without embracing other women and their wisdom”.

 

Jacklyn has always been into sewing, literature, fashion, music, makeup, fitness, food… and now construction? Jacklyn’s creative abilities are endless. Just take a look at the headboard she has crafted.

She looks as good wielding a circular saw as she does sitting at a sewing machine... seriously... who knew?

She is the reigning “Queen of Refashion”… going into thrift shops, finding good deals on vintage   clothing, then revamping them as only Jacklyn can do. Along with all her projects, she takes the time to show you how to achieve the same results!

 

  

Her blog is contagious because Jacklyn’s  personality is reflected within.
